Dr. Terry Pilling Promoted to Executive VP
Crownbutte Wind Power, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CBWP) has promoted Dr. Terry Pilling from Director of Operations to Executive Vice President. Dr. Pilling, who joined Crownbutte in 2008, is a former professor of physics at North Dakota State University, where he taught physics and engineering physics since 2004, after completing his post-doctoral research at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Russia. Dr. Pilling is responsible for project engineering, construction and operations. He has been a member of the Crownbutte board of directors since early 2009 and has started a research and technology division of Crownbutte, which has developed Crownbutte's data analysis software and is now researching wind energy storage technologies. Dr. Pilling commented, "I am truly happy that Crownbutte is becoming an electricity producer in the rapidly growing renewable energy industry and to be a part of the Crownbutte management team. The company is strongly positioned to take advantage of the nationwide push for renewable energy, in that all of our projects are located in prime wind locations as our meteorological data from those locations shows. Once they are constructed, the cash flow from these projects should help the company develop energy storage technologies, which we believe will enhance the project returns and make wind power generation a more stable and reliable component of the national power grid. This is a very exciting time to be in the wind power business." Crownbutte CEO Timothy Simons stated that, "Dr. Pilling was an asset to the company when he joined us in 2008 and has since become absolutely indispensable. He has acquired a deep knowledge of all aspects of the business from meteorology, grid interconnection and permitting all the way to project finance."
